The world of professional wrestling, AKA homo-erotic man beatings, does not own this little abbreviation. Or more specifically it did not coin the phrase. It was perhaps the illustrious Woodrow Wilson who first used this phrase in a memorable moment. At the end of the Great War (WWI) the world was indeed ripe for the blessings of a new world order, a brave new world to be ushered in by Wilson’s brain child- The League of Nations...too bad the US never joined this little club. The frightening little phrase has since been spat out by just about every two bit dictator and ambitious jerk out there. It is also to the name of a song by the band Ministry. No, dear friend, the WCW did not invent this phrase just shortened it to fit your attention span and redesigned it to entice you into watching two mean get all oiled up and tug at each other’s spandex shorts.
