Emo

What people think/see: people who wear a lot of black and have a lot of eyeliner, pretty quiet and a tad scary, probably super depressed and freaky they listen to music about death and want the world to end. What people don’t see/real definition: people who are most comfortable in darker, less revealing clothes, people who like song that have meaningful/emotional lyrics but also have good music. People who are shunned a lot because they look different even though they aren’t generally that mean/dark. Sometimes emos are depressed and sometimes they aren’t. (Just like every other categorization of human being.) emos are more in touch with their emotional side and tend to understand deeper more abstract philosophical ideas, not because they’re morbid, but because they’re intelligent and they understand things other people can’t. They often are misunderstood and choose to express themselves with poetry/music.
