He loved Lily Evans for a long but undetermined time, and was reported to have asked her out many many times. However, she hated him until she finnally agreed to go out with him in their seventh year. They got married soon afterward, and had Harry Potter (a.k.a. the-Boy-Who-Lived, the-Chosen-One).
