A Tom Tee

"A Tom" - A phrase used to describe a white cis heterosexual 5'11 lanky male. 'A Tom' was born with immense privileges, however, refuses to acknowledge or be aware that he was born with a "silver spoon" in his mouth. He navigates the world as if he is deserving of people's time and energy. 'A Tom' grew up a third-culture kid and/or immersed in cultural festivities that they believe make them special and better than other white cishet 5'11 lanky males. Confused in his identity or the historic violence of being a white man in spaces that are sacred to people of color, 'A Tom' may co-opt a chosen POC's culture as if it is their own -or- believe that he is a man of color and/or associates himself with these men of color. These individuals fetish and exoticize certain countries and/or places in the world and in turn the women in these places hoping to fulfill their fantasies of mixed-raced third culture kids that they could never be themselves. 'A Tom' personality is tremendous self-centered, egotistical, manipulative, and on the narcissism spectrum. 'A Tom' may act as an ally to POC, go as far as positioning themselves in this way but, their intentions are completely self-evolving and preformative to say the least.
