Cool Hunter
A cool hunter is one who in constantly in search of what their reference group deems to be the 'hippest' 'coolest' 'most it' 'most RELEVENT' in terms of fashion, music, art, culture, etc. However, a 'cool hunter' is not be mistaken with someone who is simply ambitious and culturally conscious. No, a 'cool hunter' puts this incessant search for what is 'cool' above all else, including their interpersonal relationships. Loved ones become quickly disposable when no longer 'cool', as do opinions, beliefs and hobbies. More importantly, 'cool hunters' are often equated with social climbing "cock suckers." It is generally expected that they don't care about anybody but themselves, their own self-gratification and pursuit of upward social mobility. Name dropping becomes a habitual action. Personal branding like breathing. They have also been known to partake in barbaric partying rituals; including being noticeably intoxicated in social settings (dripping all over the room), stumbling into people, bumping into things.
