Don't go to South Omaha if you are afraid of culture! You will find a community rich in diversity, pride, and history. South Omaha began as its own town, nicknamed "The Magic City". Annexed in 1915, it is now it is the best part of Omaha. Once a neighborhood of mostly Eastern and Southern European immigrants, it has kept its tradition of welcoming immigrants alive and is now where many Latino immigrants call home. South Omaha is where you go to find the best Mexican restaurants in Omaha. South Omaha is a place where people come to take a shot at the American dream. Many of the immigrants who came to South Omaha originally worked in the Union Stockyards, a livestock market and meat packing center, which at one time was the largest in the world. The Stockyards closed in 1999, but the South Omaha tradition of rolling up your sleeves hard work has remained. South Omaha is home to many immigrant and family owned small businesses off 24th Street, and the entire neighborhood. If you aren't afraid to go east of 72nd Street you may run into a SOB or two while you are here. --That's short for South Omaha Boy or South Omaha Beauty. We'll sit down and have a beer with you in a great South Omaha dive bar. We'll shoot the shit for a minute, but be careful we can smell privileged, entitled douches from a mile away. So by all means stay away if you think mayonnaise is spicy and American needs to make itself great again. You won't like it here and we won't like you either.

My friend saw the message on the cup ordered at a mutual friends house. We think it’s hilarious so had to put it on a coffee cup. Funny, great Christmas present. If she can’t use in public she can always use at home for pens and pencils on her desk!

First heard the term “Cheddar Headed” from the song Feel Good by the Gorillaz. Had to look it up and found the definition hilarious and at times very true! So......had to have it! Took it to work and it definitely made an impression. Hahaha!
