The feeling after someone calls you attractive or good looking, but then says they have low standards immediately after or later. What would could they have meant by that? Did they mean it jokingly? Did they mean to insult you? Or did they just genuinely thought you were attractive but they're kind of awkward and presented it in a strange way. The more you like the other person the more of an intense feeling it becomes. The never ending confusion of whether they like you or hate you will be suffering. Of course you can't ask them what they meant because that would make things weird whether they like you or not. So this confused feeling will live on until you completely void them from your life or void yourself form theirs.
