The most commonly used term for The Beatles' ninth studio album, self-named, "The BEATLES." The BEATLES is, quite literally, the greatest album ever released. The cover depicts no graphics, no background, only the words, "The BEATLES," slightly raised, embossed, in the bottom right at a very slight angle. The album consists of Two discs. This piece is described by many as, eerie, disturbing, not musical, hiding a secret, and even evil, or scary. The BEATLES was marked as the tenth greatest album of all time in the Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of all time.
