Steve I have found to be kind of rude and mean. He is someone who is apparently quite nasty towards some people with mental illness and appears to lack empathy and compassion for them. And yet I thought that he was someone more mature than that. I guess that I was wrong and naiive in my initial impression of him. It's tough when you discover that someone isn't completely what or who you thought they were and you're left feeling quite hurt and disappointed. While at the same time you wish to hold no bad feelings towards them but are apparently expected by others (aka people you know) to feel gratitude that someone whom you liked gave you the time of day. Yeah, that sucks. I'm tired of people treating me like dirt on their shoes or a second-class citizen because some people look down on me or lack compassion for me due to problems beyond my control and expect me to accept that and not have a problem with it. Like, what the hell. No. I'm a bloody human being and I'm going to feel pretty hurt- even if I don't always express it very well or considerately- if someone hurts my feelings and is actually pretty unreasonably unkind towards me.
