Variant of preppy used as an insult or derogatory term. Typically a arrogant and/or wealthy member of the lucky sperm club who feel they're "better than you" in every way. They're also known to be native to northern states, schools, and universities such as Yale. The opposite of trailer-trash, hicks, red-necks, and the average joe. Zack Morris from saved by the bell is a good fictional example of a preppie, while A.C. Slater was more of a Jock, Kelly was an air head, and Screech was a geek.. etc.. etc.. etc..
