Pool-child Syndrome
Found in teenagers and adults who grew up with a swimming pool. Symptoms include always insisting on activities taking place at their home and rarely participating in activites taking place at someone elses home. (ex. movie nights, dinners, etc.) These people may be, at times, condescending, persuasive, and defensive when they have to venture outside of their own home. These teenagers and adults are used to not leaving their own comfort zone because as a kid they did not have too. Friends and other kids always went to their house to swim because they had a pool. Now these people are jerks.
