Neopets Mug

Neopets, a childish yet addicting site, started in 1999 as a harmless website for bored college students. It was fine until 2006. It was fun, the games were original, and things had a personal touch to them. Then, in 2006, Viacom bought Neopets, and turned it into an advertising machine. Now every page there are at least three ads, and sponsor games make up at least half of the overall games. There's a freaking Neopets CEREAL. And Neopets dolls and trading cards and magazines. Adam and Donna are no longer in charge of Neopets, Viacom is. -sigh-
