Lavender Haze mug
"Lavender Haze" is a fictional term created for the television show Mad Men. It was used to describe the feeling of being in love. Although some claim the term was widely used in the 1950s, there is little to no evidence to support its use in this context before the show. The example below is a transcript of the scene where it is used. It is from Mad Men Season 2, Episode 12 "The Mountain King", which aired in 2008.
