Flux is the situation when you're in between a relationship and friends with benefits and don't know what is going to happen in the future. It can transform into more or totally fade away. You can also have a flux when you're sure you don't want to have a relationship, but just sex is not enough. It is not as binding as a relationship and you can be friends even after the flux falls apart.
