The terms "e-girl" and "e-boy" are derived from "electronic boy" and "electronic girl", due to their association with the internet. More recently, the term egirl has also been altered into something negative. It can often be used as an insult to describe attractive women on apps like TikTok or online game streaming platforms like Twitch. Some people use the term as another way of describing girls as 'thot' or 'internet slut'. The mug is of good quality but advertisement needs to change as the sample photo for ordering gives the customer an illusion that the entire mug is of that color ordered when it is not
