Trap

A person that currently or previously identified as male and that presents as female/feminine, intentionally or unintentionally. A trap is not synonymous with a transgender female, or even crossdresser. The closest synonym would be femboy, however they aren't necessarily the same things There are cases where someone will describe themselves with all four of these titles, as well. Trap is derogatory when used with a trans woman or trans feminine individual who has not stated it is a label they use. And is also inappropriate to use with someone who does not specifically use it as a way to label themselves, or okayed themselves in reference to it.

I've seen trans women that use trap as a label, maybe it's something with reclaiming it, I don't know. Ever since I showed Jason that anime I My Me Strawberry eggs, he's been crossdressing and calling himself a trap. A youtuber I like, Rinsenpai specified that trap, isn't something he's comfortable being described as.
