A blogging social network site for those who want to express their opinions and be entirely themselves. Many fandoms are found on tumblr such as Harry Potter, Starkid and Glee. It's a place where people are't judged. Those with a tumblr also know not to talk about tumblr to those who don't have a tumblr. It's not a 'fashion trend' it's a place for people to be original and themselves with their followers who they don't necessarily know in real life but find some common ground with.

Facebook person: So I heard that Darren Criss guy is coming back to Glee for season 3? Tumblr person: Yeah I found that out a while ago. Facebook person: But I only saw it on one of my friends' statuses today. How did you know? Tumblr person: Can't remember. Google or something. *in head - tumblr tells me EVERYTHING*
