An insult primarily used by caucasians in reference to a person who is rude, irritating, inconsiderate, exceedingly ignorant, or filled with unwarranted self-importance. Douchebags are often seen wearing trucker caps and affliction tees, and they often use the word "gay" in a pejorative sense.

Guy #1: "...everyone on welfare is just eating away at our tax dollars. Most of them aren't even poor. They just keep having kids to get a fatter check. My cousin's best friend's ex boyfriend's aunt had like 9 kids and drove a sparkly impala with spinners that she got using welfare checks. Welfare queens. Pshaw." Guy #2: "Oh god, this guy's been pounding sparks all night and spewing his fox news commentary on everyone here. He's fucking up our party." Guy #3: "What a douchebag."
