Hipster
Someone who claims to know a lot about music/art while having little to no interest and very very little understanding of it & the associated communities. Basically a fake ass fucker who acts like an elitist know-it-all but they have no really interest in it and use this fake interest to leverage their social standing (aka just to look better than everyone else). Synonymous with poseur.
Patrick's such a hipster. He says he listens to Alcest but he doesn't even know what genre the band is.
