A New Jersey- born rock/alternative band formed in 2001 consisting of Gerard Way (Vocals), Ray Toro (Guitar), Mikey Way (Guitar), and Frank Iero (Guitar). They have a new drummer, but I forgot his name. Sorry! MCR's sound has moved from dark and hard core to violent pop. :) I like it. They have been getting crap from the press in the past for being a bad influence on listeners, but time and time again they have told their fans to get help if they're feeling depressed and to feel like they are never really alone. They got their name from a book by Irvine Welsh. My Chemical Romance; A rock band, plain and simple. Nobody wants opinions on here. Members- Ray Toro-Lead Guitar Frank Iero-Guitar Michael Way-Bass Guitar Gerard Way-Lead Vocals Bob Bryar- Drums Former Members- Matt Pellisser-Drums For all you ass-kissing teens. not meaning to offend anybody, if thats what you are, thats what you are Mikey Way- Not asthmatic, Engaged to be married. Frank Iero- Also engaged to be married. Ray Toro- Maybe he doesn't want you to fuck his hair. Bob Bryar- Amazing drummer, he won't 'sex' you. Gerard Way- Please don't say you would like to rape him. These guys get under-rated so much for their talent even though they are currently in the spotlight. A bunch of hard working people who give their all into every single part of their jobs. Inspirational, most have fucked up and made mistakes but they learnt to deal with it. A group of people just wanting to portray a message and take music to places that it hasn't been for a long while.

My chemical romance is an amazing band. They have helped many people through their hardest times. My chemical romance's newest album is "danger days"(buy it) Gerard way is the lead singer (he is one sassy man) They are NOT EMO. So all you fags who continually say that, Just stop.

They are like marmite. You either HATE them or LOVE them... there is no inbetween:) Obsessed or Disgusted.. you pick.. but before you judge them on what you have read or heard about them just PLEASE listen to the album 'i brought you my bullets you brought me your love' and then you can make a judgement..:) TBH i probably owe them my sanity.

I'm not going to say that My Chemical Romance is the best band ever or that they suck. I honestly love them, 1 because I think their songs are good, 2 because they helped save my best friend's life. Nobody should like this band because their songs are on the radio or hate them because they don't like their music. My Chemical Romance is a band, so of course they'll have haters and fans. People say that My Chemical Romance is emo or gay, which is not true. You can try to pinpoint their music style, but you can't really. Each one of their songs has a different style that may or may not be noticed by the listener. If you've only heard their songs from the radio then I highly recommend listening to some of their other songs. The songs that you hear a lot aren't My Chemical Romance, not truly. My Chemical Romance is all of their songs, every one of their albums. A lot of people judge My Chemical Romance, calling them emo pussies. Sure that's your opinion. You can't call their fans emo or idiots for liking them, that's like blaming someone for falling in love with someone. You can't control the type of music you like, so just quit blaming people for liking them. You can't control what bands you don't like, so don't get all mad at the haters (although the people who don't like them could honestly learn some respect). My Chemical Romance IS NOT a suicide band. They don't want people to kill themselves, hurt themselves, and they want people to be themselves.
