Akeldama Mug
"Aceldama" or "Akeldama" (Aramaic:××§× ×××; field of blood) is the Aramaic name for a place in Jerusalem associated with Judas Iscariot, one of the followers of Jesus. Religion connects it with the death of Judas Iscariot, who is supposed to have bought it with the money that he received for betraying Jesus. In this account (Acts of the Apostles 1:19) Judas fell over in this field in such a way that his intestines burst out and he died. This would imply that the name refers to the blood of Judas.

I LOVE my mug! It's such a meaningful way to remember a word my Dad "coined" When I was a child. I am very pleased.
