However, it is considered different to 'newb', as a newb is a player that has just started that is asking a simple question, but a 'n00b', is a person that has had enough time to get to grips with [everything], and should know the answer to his stupid question. Basically it is calling somebody stupid. It is also used in a game trade, when the newb gets scammed.
