A fisherman refers to juniors and seniors in high school who are in/pursuing a romantic relationship with a freshman; called a fisherwoman if the older one is a female. The act of being a fisherman is called "fishing" Stems from the fact that "fisherman" sounds like "freshman", also very well portrays the image of "reeling in" your prey.
