Emos do not always wear dark clothing. We usually like dark colors so that is what we wear. Some of us are secretly emo so some people don't know that we are hurting. Emos are not over emotional and do not seek attention. We do not always cut, cutting is a stage and some stay in that stage. Emo is not how you dress, or how you treat your body, or how you act. Emo is a state of pain. Yes, most of us do have antidepressants or antianxiety medications. The thing that people don't [understand] is that when you cut, you are in so much pain that you are trying to release it or you feel you deserve pain. This word is more of a lifestyle/[personality] style. I hope this doesn't offend anybody as other people's [definitions] have offended me.
