Back in the days of AOR (album oriented rock) radio, many stations would be given promotional copies of newly released albums. The DJs at KSHE-95 in St. Louis would dutifully listen to each of these records [start to finish], and would sometimes find hidden gems on obscure albums by equally obscure artists. These songs would be given regular airplay and would become popular in St. Louis but [relatively] unknown elsewhere. Most KSHE Klassics are songs from albums released between 1970 and 1975.
