Men (and women) exhibiting swag are usually positive, happy, rarely negative or [confrontational] unless necessary, appears comfortable through relaxed body language, and live with a genuine and uninhibited interest in getting to know others. His "swag" contributes a positive and attractive atmosphere towards those around him.

Contrary to some of the misleading [contemporary] uses of the word, it is not a mysterious thing bestowed only upon "certain guys" who simply "have it." Nor can swag be bought. It is a positive energy anyone can adapt at any time.

Men with fake swag often use the term to describe unconvential fashion statements and displays of expensive material possesions.

Though its great to feel good about your appearance, a front of status and confidence through material possesions in an attempt to gain the validation of those around you is fake swag. The sort of women who fall for fake swag and exclude all other men are not worth the thought.

Swag is about a positive and unapologetic acceptance of self, a genuine interest in enjoying life, and a desire to share that positive energy with those around you. It is not about looks, status, or [materialism].
