Noun: a gun for those who are practical.
I see alot of Glock bashing in favor of Sig's but lets be honest, for the price of a sig you can get 2 glocks, in the same caliber, you can also get [replacement] parts for about [1/4] the price. If your sig has a serious malfunction and you have to take it to a gunsmith you will have to do some deep digging to find a sig certified armorer, whereas glock armorers are a dime a dozen I know 6 of them without trying to find one. I am not arguing that a sig is a bit more accurate than the glock, thats a fact, however the accuracy difference is unnoticable at closer ranges (the ones that happen in real life like 25ft) The glock is easily the most reliable handgun [on the market] today with a larger mag capacity than sig or baretta and is the easiest on your wallet. It also requires less Preventive maintenance than any other gun. Everytime I hear about a jam or a malfunction with a glock, it's because someone didn't read the owners manual and applied gun grease or someone over oiled it, or hasn't cleaned it in 25 yrs(no shit [actually happened]...to a cop no less.) I am not saying its the best gun ever, but for CCW purposes and constant use, it is the best option for most. However if your a [competition] shooter and money is limitless, go sig or custom 1911.
