town in [fairfield county], ct. more than 50% catholic. while a lot of it is middle-class, there are some very, VERY rich people here. one person may have a tiny house, another may have a huge mansion. kids here go from being down to earth and friendly to completely preppy and snobby. [you know who] the rich kids are if they go to rock ridge, the country club in town. all of the kids here wanna go to uconn, but a lot end up going somewhere completely different. [the school system] is actually really good, and if you dont go to public school you most likely go to the town's catholic school. its basically an alternative for those who want their kids to go to a private school but who dont have enough money for a different one. as far as i know, there are 2 others in town, but they're only attended by the smart kids who can really afford it (newtown isnt cheap!). other than that, its home to the biggest lacrosse fanatics and the NIGHTHAWKS. the ghetto to us here in newtown is bridgeport, although danbury is known as the mini one. everyone who moves out of newtown goes to fairfield. the popular high schools are nhs, [immaculate] and fairfield prep. "the center" is where teenagers hang out and smoke, although apparently loitering is "strictly prohibited".
