[Small town] in Hertfordshire, in the South East of England. It is the main town in the Borough of Broxbourne, which also contains Wormley, Hoddesdon, [Waltham Cross], Goffs Oak, and Cheshunt. The River Lee, which starts at Luton, and joins the River Thames in South London, runs straight through it. Broxbourne is, therefore, at a high risk of flooding, as parts of it are very close to the river bank. It is just North of London, close to Enfield, and is not on [the London Underground] network. It is also very close to the border between Hertfordshire and Essex. It is the home of The Broxbourne School, as well as several primary schools.
