(Taken from the 1995 Robin Williams film "Jumanji", based off a 1981 short story by Chris Van Allsburg.) Originates from a scene in the movie where Robin Williams' character rolls a pair of dice, one of which falls off of the board. Even though the die is not on the board, it still lands flat and counts as a legitimate roll, ending the game. As long as the dice was not acted on by an outside force (other than the original roll) and it is clear which side is facing up, the roll counts. Often put into effect when playing on a small table, where the dice is likely to roll off.
