Additionally, you might be assigned to an armory and be responsible for controlling and safeguarding arms, ammunition and equipment. Security Forces is in fact an extremely important job. They are the only line of defense between the air force base an the enemy. Now Security forces is branching out and doing even more work such as protecting convoys and even going on off base patrols. Anyone who says that Security Forces is not an important job is either a civilian or got a DUI from a Cop.
