Foodpon is a hybrid term between Food and coupon. It was popularized and rumored to be created during the hype of group buying trend in the 2010 when two food lovers in Singapore decided to create a group buying website for food and name their business Foodpon Singapore (Foodpon.SG). Not to be mistaken with the word Food Porn although they sound similar.
