Wild rock and roll played by Italians or bands of Italians. the word is the "rock and roll" transposition of the cultural phenomenon of Spaghetti Western, also known as Italo-western, (broad sub-genre of Western film that emerged in italythe mid-1960s) the first band to use this word were the Minu Low Fi (or minus lo fi), but critics and zines extended it to the Brokendolls, the Gonzales, the Leches, Postalmarket Babies, Lester & Landslide Ladies, the Antares, and many other contemporary wild rock bands ispired by swedish rock and roll alla Hellcopters or Turbonegro, and by American wild garage punk rock and roll like New Bomb Turks or Zeke
