Term used to describe someone (usually female) who has managed to become overweight in all the wrong places but isn't quite obviously overweight. Someone who never exercises and but still eats poorly thus causing the weight issue. The overweight areas are usually subtle, prime spots are: upper arms usually fatty but smooth so hard to notice the fat. The [love handles] that hang [over the pants] but still managed to keep the belly from getting too big. The gobbler is also a dead giveaway (lean face but still carries that turkey chin behind her own) and lastly the armpit (extra fat deposits that show at the front of the armpit). Also another giveaway that she is frumpy is if her butt is flat but she still has [love handles]. Frumpy girls usually don't realize that they are because they probably carried that body type in high school and no one could tell the difference.
