A leading [independent] school situated in the South of Edinburgh, UK. The school, founded in 1723 by wealthy benefactor George Watson, caters for both boys and girls from ages 3-18. The school is reknowned for it's academic success and extra-curricular prowess.

Rugby Union is the main sport in the school, in which the school boasts over 100 Scottish internationialists and [others] who represented England, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The school 1st XV is also successful, having been ranked in the top 10 schools in Britain for the last 3 seasons.
Music is also important to the school and this was reflected in the building of a new music building which won [international] awards for architecture and was opened by the Queen.
