There is another meaning of the term 'fauxmosexual' dim:'fauxmo'. This is a person who chooses to distance him/herself from the hetero norm of society, whether or not s/he is straight, gay or bi. A fauxmo is a self-identified politically aware person who has probably read Foucault, or has at least heard of him.
