Yes its known as the forgotten borough, Yes some people have tanning issues, and there are italian people here but there are also russian, [african american], asian, spanish, irish, german, and many other cultures here to. To generalize a place without having an open mind is considered steryotyping. True life staten island was a terriable example of how people live here. North Shore and South Shore are deffinatley different but the people can be considered the same. The south shore is more suburbs and the north more [urbanized]. People on the north and south shore both have jobs or dont and we are all suffering with the economy today so to say that south shore people are rich is just ignorant. Staten Island like any other borough has its good parts and bad parts some people are less fortunate then others but hey thats life happens everywhere. Staten island honestly has [nothing to do]. Yes theres movie theaters (so old) and ice skating rinks that everyone went to for fun durning junior high (played out) and besides that theres nothing fun about this island. the mall is were people also go to just hang out and [window shop] which is rediculous.
