A seemingly pointless, and totally stupid variation on the term "GRINDCORE". Apparently Metal fans would like to forget/deny Grindcore's connection to the [Hardcore Punk] scene of the 80's all together by needlessly tacking on the word "METAL". Grindcore is Grindcore, period... There's no denying it's [Thrash Metal] connections, but "Grindcore Metal" is just stupid. "Death Grind" seems much more [appropriate] than the needlessly-long "Grindcore Metal" title, which doesn't even make sense... Metal snobs, stop trying to hijack Grindcore!
