A little place in the mallee, east of Adelaide in [South Australia]. "The Heart of the Mallee" is known for its massive sheep statue, its exceptionally clean public toilets, the annual Karoonda Farm Fair (take its name [literally]...), the apparently rare meteorite that fell so long ago that [it's not that] famous, and a massive storm that wiped out a lot of the town a couple of years back. Has a netball and football club that is generally awesome: the Mallee Magpies. Population is pretty small.
