(A very rare condition, but common for italian [handicaped] newborns). this condition is also called (Fetal Cartilage Syndrome), (caused from lack of oxygen, [blood flow], and the fetus's leg being bent backwards the whole term of pregnancy.) this name [originated] from the first and only baby to ever be born in rome italy missing a knee cap at birth. Her parents wanted to name her brittany, but used knee as a symbol for the one she was missing.
