Sanpaku, a Japanese word meaning "three whites" is a rare eye characteristic in which the whites of the eye can be seen either above or below the iris. The location of the whites of the eye can generally give information about the person. There are two types of sanpaku eyes 1. Yin sanpaku: where the whites of the eyes can be seen below the iris, suggesting that the individual is prone to danger from the outside world. It is a misconception that all people with yin sanpaku eyes will die tragically. It often just means that they will tend to put themselves in dangerous situations. Famous people with yin sanpaku eyes include JFK, [Princess Diana], Indira Ghandi, [Michael Jackson], and Audrina Patridge. 2. Yang Sanpaku: where the whites of the eyes can be seen above the iris, suggesting that the individual is prone to danger from within themselves. Generally, these people have explosive tempers and violent tendencies. [Charles Manson] exhibits these eyes.
