Basically, NO ONE knows what emo is anymore. Some say it's people who want to kill themselves/hate life/etc., but those are just people who, plainly, are depressed and upset with life. Doesn't mean they're emo. And there's also the emo dressing style. Seriously, [what the hell]? Just because you wear [skinny jeans] and black-rimmed glasses doesn't make you emo, either. As for me, I say that emo is a certain type of music, with meaningful lyrics about past mistakes and failed [relationships] with others, and emotions (any kind of emotion) Happy, sad, angry, jealous, etc. But hey, who's right about the "word" emo now-a-days?
