A Disc-Jockey or DJ is usually a 16 to 30 year old male or female who plays various music nonstop in clubs or on the radio, for people to enjoy. A DJ's generic club setup consists of Lights timed to music, A set of turntables, a soundboard, an amplifier and a set of speakers. There is no limit on how much or little music technology a DJ can use, but a DJ usually uses turntables or an equivilant peice of technolgy to suit his or her needs.
