Shortened version of beaner, A bean is the other half of Mexicans. Unless you yourself are a Mexican, [you wouldn't know] that [Mexican-Americans] are a very divided culture, and the "Beans" are typically of the poorer lower class, most likely because their previous generations were just that back in Mexico. [Characteristics] of a Bean- -Dark skin(seriously, some could be black) -ALWAYS has black hair -Looks like the people in Apocalypto -Knows absolutely NO English -Poor yet have decent Fords and Chevy's because thats all they spend money on. -Nicest piece of clothing they own is a shirt from hollister(if trying to be a social) or a chargers or raiders jersey (if trying to be ghetto -Loud and stupid -Constantly talk about all the ways Mexico is better than the U.S. yet they refuse to go back. -ALWAYS have some cheap Nike shirt or jersey for the Mexico olympic or world cup team -Buys majority of their belongings at the Swap Meet -Thinks Carne Asada is the god of all meats -Goes to TJ every Sunday to go to church and visit the family that didnt make it across the border. -Usually very proud of being Mexican -Thinks that having a 20" plasma tv from some off brand makes them rich. These are just some of the things that makes someone a bean, but rest assured there are more. This is not to be [understood] as all Mexicans because the [light skinned] ones usually arnt beans but there definitely are many light skinned beans out there. These are the most Mexican you can get, mostly because they are the descendants of the Aztec Indians, where as the rest of us are descendants of the Spanish.
