you can try and say cheerleading isn't a sport but [you wouldn't know] until you've tried lifting a girl above your head while she twist herself into shapes most people can't do on the ground. [You wouldn't know] until you cheer so loud to get your team going that your near passing out.You wouldn't even know until you've practiced 6 days a week until you get everything perfect. you wouldn't even know until you lose a cheerleader due to injury and have to re-do you whole routine because unlike football, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, etc. you have no body sitting on the side lines to replace that person, or until your a cheerleader who gets up and does a whole routine whith a sprained ankel, wrist,etc. without crying until you get off the mat or feild You wouldn't even kno until you stunt, tumble, jump and dance until you cry because its so hard but you keep going because you have a whole team counting on you and bigger then that your hearts [in it]. when you try being a cheerleader for 2 hours straight being pushed to your limits every single day, without one letter of complaint...no moaning or whining...like [cheerleaders] do every practice, then you can try and say its not a sport. but until then, don't say things about a sport you obviously know nothing about because us [cheerleaders] do take offense because we put our energy time and hearts into a sport and all people can say is how cute we look doing it even though they can't do half the things we do every day.
