As Is The Word Goth, Emo Has Become Something Of A Stereotyping Mainstream. A [Stereotypical] Emo Would Cut Themself, Cry [All The Time], Cover Their Face With Hair, Wear Tight Clothing And Listen To Rock Songs About [Depression] And Heartbreak. But In Reality Emo Is Just A Word So That Some People Can Feel Like They Belong, While Others Use It A Tool To Place Someone In A Catagory (Which May Or May Not Even Be Correct).
Emo, Along With Goth And Also Skater, Is Just A Subculture Of Punk, Mainly Looking At How Hard Life And Love Can Be (Especially When The Word "Love" Is Thrown Around So Much, It's Meaning Is Lost).
But Today, All These Cultures And Subcultures Can Easily Be Faked Just By Wearing Certain Clothes, I Could Quite Easily Put A Pair Of Tight Jeans And Converse On, And People Would Say I'm Emo, But Then I Put Baggy Trousers On, Big Boots And Some Black Lipstick, And I Am Seen As Goth.
But It Is Annoying When You Get An Emo Who Wants Everyone Else To [Know It], Same Goes As Some Goths.
