a phrase used by a mother describing a medical problem with her underdeveloped 9 year old son, in a phone conversation with her sister. To avoid being explicit about which of her sons she's describing, she uses the word "ying" which is a contraction of "yingele", a Yiddish word meaning "young one." However "little pitchers have big ears" or "weird scrotums" and both boys overheard and knew.
