1. n. see also 'mosh pit'. an area sometimes allocated nearest the stage at a rock concert in which rockers and/or sometimes emos enjoy the volume of the live music by jumping up and down, headbanging and lifting each other up on to their shoulders, but mostly by slamming into each other as hard as they can to try and knock each other over, fighting [with the boys] and having sex with the girls.
