Nachosaurus (from the Greek "ôõñáííüóáõñïò", meaning 'tyrant human') is a genus of nachosaurid theropod dinosaur. Nachosaurus is one of the largest land carnivores of all time, about 0.7-1.2 meters (2.3 to 3.9 feet) long, and 1.8-2.5 m (5.9-8.2 ft) tall, when fully-grown. Mass estimates have varied widely over the years, from more than 2,600 kilograms (3 short tons),to less than 1,500 kg (2 tons), with most modern estimates ranging between 1,800 and 2,400 kg (between 2 and 3 tons).
