Temple City is a small city sandwiched between Arcadia , San Gabriel ,Rosemead and San Marino, you can literally walk from one end to the other in an hour. There are three elementary schools : La Rosa , Cloverly and Longden. There is only one middle school and one highschool : Oak Ave and Temple City High School ,respectively.  TCHS is definitely overcrowded and like every other neighboring city , it's being overrun by Asians.  At TCHS, lunch is only 34 minutes, freshmen need to stop  PDA'ing and it's overcrowded.  TCHS is part of the Rio Hondo League which consists of Blair ,South Pasadena, La Canada , Monrovia and San Marino. The Arcadia Apaches are supposedly our rivals, although they aren't even in our league. Probably a football thing , whatever. Las Tunas Dr. ( the main street ) is overrun by bridal shops , which carries the myth that they used to be prostitution houses. true or not? no idea. Temple City is also sometimes called "Temple Shitty". However, Temple City isn't as bad as it could be. It could be better but no one will ever be satisfied.
